🧑🏻🍳🍳Can you cook the perfect omelette? 🥚🍅Eggs & veggies for breakfast are an incredibly healthy way to start the day, for so many reasons. That’s why enjoying an omelette in the mornings is a great brekkie option, so long as you can nail the process that is! 👊🏼If you’re one of the many peeps who are yet to master the art of making the perfect home-made omelette, then check out this video where I've shared my tips on how to nail it, Every. Single. Time. 👏🏼👏🏼 For the diehard omelette lovers, below are a few crucial tips I didn’t include in the video and they all revolve around one common & important theme - temperature. 🔥 🍳1️⃣🍳Use a well-greased, cast iron pan so the heat is evenly dispersed.2️⃣🔥 Speaking of heat, be sure to use your largest heat ring on your stove and place it on the lowest heat setting. Pre-warm the pan so it’s at a consistent temp all-round before throwing a knob of butter on to start cooking your onions.3️⃣⏰ And here’s the most important part that’ll ensure you don’t undercook or overcook your omelette : once you’ve done the strategic-two-spatula flip, turn your heat completely off but leave your omelette to gently cook through in the hot pan for a couple of minutes. This will ensure it a) doesn’t burn on one side if you cook it for too hot too long, or b) isn’t undercooked on the inside because you took it off the pan too early. If you’re fresh out of Hot Sesame Sauce but you’re still keen to give your breakfast a delicious burst of flavour, you can use any of our savoury jams or sauces to jazz it up - like our Red Hot Chilli Jam or Bloody Mary Ketchup. Either way, it’ll really add a wow-factor to your newly created perfect omelette.Give an omelette a go this weekend, and be sure to tag us in your creation!! And what’s more, if you don’t nail the flip the first time round - at least it’s still edible (it just doesn’t look very pretty)… also, there’s always tomorrow 😉
