A one-pan dinner that’s creamy, comforting, and full of bold flavour This is dumpling night — reimagined. No frying pans, no steamer baskets, no stress. Just frozen dumplings and our spicy-smooth Hot Sesame Sauce, baked in a coconut cream sauce until golden, bubbling, and irresistible. The creamy sesame sauce wraps each dumpling in bold, satisfying flavour. Plus, everything cooks in one tray, so clean-up is blissfully minimal. 🥟 Hot Sesame Baked Dumplings Serves: 3–4 Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 35 minutes Ingredients 1 pack frozen dumplings (20–25, any variety) 1 can coconut milk (400ml) 1/2 cup vegetable stock or water 2–3 tbsp Paddington Pantry Hot Sesame Sauce Optional toppings: Spring onions Chilli crisp Toasted sesame seeds Fresh coriander Sliced red chilli Instructions Preheat your oven to 190°C (fan forced). Lightly grease a medium-to-large baking dish. Arrange the frozen dumplings in a single layer — a snug fit is fine. In a jug, whisk together the coconut milk, vegetable stock, and our Hot Sesame Sauce. Pour the sauce over the dumplings until they are mostly submerged but with the tops peeking out. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the dumplings are golden. Top with your favourite garnishes and serve straight from the tray. 🍚 Make It a Meal Add a few handfuls of baby spinach or shredded cabbage around the dumplings before baking — the greens will soak up the sauce beautifully. Serve with steamed rice or soba noodles to turn this into a heartier dinner. Why You’ll Love It Golden dumplings. Creamy, spicy sesame sauce. One tray. Zero fuss. This is your go-to for a flavour-packed dinner without the midweek madness. **Please note, when we made this recipe, our own photos didn’t capture how delicious the dish truly is.
